Log Book Package
We have created a souvenir Log Book, Certificate and Medal for your WHW journey. All elements are designed by local artists, as a memento of your achievement. Enjoy a bit of fun collecting stamps along the way...as well as your personalised commemorative certificate. (Plus, you may feel you justly deserve a medal by the time you get to Fort William). Funds help to support the free services offered by our team at this independent tourist office in Milngavie.
All walkers booking their holiday package with us, receive a complimentary Log, Certificate and Medal package, as part of the service.

Log Book - £5.00
Designed in a celtic style, the cover artwork features the iconic mountain, Buchaille Etive Mhor, and the back has an impressionistic map of the WHW route.
There are more than a dozen stamps to collect on the route, all held in public places on the Way itself. The stamps feature native Scottish Animals that you might just be lucky enough to hear or see during your journey.
Grey Heron, Red Squirrel, Long-Eared Owl, Salmon, Wild Goat of Inversnaid, Osprey, Grey Seal, Golden Eagle, Scottish Wild Cat, Red Deer Stag, Mountain Hare, Black Grouse. You'll find a list of stamp locations printed on your Log Book.
Since we launched our Log, many other WHW businesses have joined in the fun - so wherever you find yourself - just ask if there's a stamp! Of course, you don't have to get them all - collect as many as you wish...

Certificate - Free with Log Book
All log book holders can collect their Certificate in Fort William - in true Scots style - at the pub. The Grog and Gruel Pub is close to the finish in Fort William. Simply present your Log Book at the Bar and your Certificate will be inscribed with your name and receive the final stamp. Proof positive that you made it - all 96 miles! Make sure to put it in a prominent place when you get home. You may inspire friends, families and colleagues to follow in your footsteps.
Medal - £15
Our pewter WHW medal is handcrafted by a local artisan silversmith, who specialises in gold and silver celtic jewellery. The medal is cast in pewter and hand finished, with a strong clasp on the back. Silver and gold plated commissions are available on request.
