Firstly thank you for your help as we embarked upon the west highland way for the third time this year!  We thoroughly enjoyed it as usual, even though it rained non-stop. 

I visited the West Highland Way this past April and loved my time on the trail.  Thank you for all your work in maintenance and promotion of the trail.  I hope to be back before long to finish the second half of the Way. 

I walked the WHW in June with my wife, my daugther and a friend of mine. The only thing I can say is 10, wonderful, great and unforgettable days. Thanks to all to make this possible through their work. Many greetings to Scotland and God bless you.

Thank you to all of you at the Information Office, I was ever so glad I bought a pair of gloves and good matches from you before setting off on my solo journey. It was lovely to come in and be treated in such a friendly manner, especially since I was feeling so nervous before my walk! I started off alone, just myself and my one person tent, but met many wonderful people along the way... it was a journey I will cherish forever.

We liked walking this Way very, very much! The views were stunning and the weather was nice also. We met many people on our way, walking the same route. Which was also a great thing. 

Thoroughly enjoyed this walk – weather not too bad – one really rainy day.   Met people from Australia, Sweden, England – really interesting. We found some places not very well signposted, but on the whole delighted we could fulfill a long time goal as we are originally from Scotland.  Your office in Milngavie was very helpful and we wish you continued success.

The WHW is one of the most beautiful treks I've ever experienced! Peace.

We had a fantastic time when we walked the WHW in July. It was the best holiday we have ever had so far! Gareth took a photo when we were walking along Loch Lomond and we loved it so much it is now on our living room wall reminding us of a really wonderful holiday. 

Had a great walk in July - thanks to all concerned - will stay in my mind for years to come.

It was so nice to hear from you. So, I remembered again the days at the West Highland Way in June with three of my best friends. We enjoyed it so much and will be back sometime.

My daughter, husband and I hiked the West Highland Way for the second time in April of this year.  Wonderful!  In March 2009 we hiked it and simply had to return to see if it was as beautiful as we remembered.  It was even better the second time and as before, the people we met at inns, hostels, b&b's, pubs, and everywhere in between were so very friendly and helpful.  I even celebrated my birthday with a surprise West Highland Way Hey Hey Pudding at the Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum.  I hope to return soon...

Walking the WHW was an amazing and breathtaking trip...we're so proud that we made it and we'd love to do that again. Thank you.

We will remember especially a country with all these different landscapes where we found warm welcomes everywhere.

I actually wrote a day-by-day travelogue of my trip. You are welcome to share it. On the one had it gives a pretty detailed accounting...on the other hand I feel like I cheated as i walked in gloriously beautiful weather and I know that is not the norm!

The whole experience was out of this world and although I have travelled many places abroad, not one place or journey, will ever leave memories such as those i have of the WHW!!!  From day one the journey was magical...we chose to do the journey over 8 days and that was superb as we had time to walk, enjoy, chill and take in every day and every memory, whilst sharing time with many wonderful walkers that we met along the way. A truly unique experience, thank you.
